|Description:||Compliance Specialist is needed for a growing property management company. The compliance specialist preforms file audits and advises communities of errors and/or missing documentation. |
A comprehensive and working knowledge of the Section 42 Program (LIHTC), HOME Program and/or NSP Program are required.
Available to travel approximately 25% of the time to inspect the apartments files.

|Duties:||1. Preform file audits and advise communities of errors and/or missing documentation. Work with Community Directors and or Regionals.|
2. Review household move in or household recertification to ascertain that Section 42 program, HOME programs and or/NSP program guidelines are being followed.
3. Follow up with Community Directors on file audits to make sure corrections have been completed. Keep a log of files audited and files to be audited.
4. Follow up on applicants or existing household preapprovals. Maintain file.
5. Attend and travel to Tax Credit Inspections for assigned communities.
-Min 2 yrs background in Compliance of LIHTC residential properties
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Strong knowledge of LIHTC regulations
-Ability to travel 25% of the time
-Experience with property management software. Onesite experience a plus.
